Frequently Asked Questions

We started Rebel Patch because we wanted to remove clothing from their journey to landfill and avoid textile waste. We therefore decided to produce our patches on a ‘made to order’ basis. This means that we need a minimum quantity of patches in order to go to print. This means less waste but also longer lead times.
-
Because we need a minimum number of patches in order to start the production the lead time is currently between 2-4 weeks. We will update you about the process of your patch and hope you enjoy the journey. Thank you for your patience and supporting slow fashion!

Sew on patches are great for everyone who can either hand sew or has access to a sewing machine or you can ask your friends!
Iron on patches are great for everyone who doesn’t want to sew and wants a quick application. However, make sure your garment is made to withstand high temperatures before trying to iron it.
-
Make sure you check the label of your garment before you apply any heat and we recommend doing a heat test on an inconspicuous area first.
Typically cotton, linen, denim and some polyester based fabrics are suitable.
Don’t put an iron on patch on any fabrics that contain: rayon, nylon, teflon, waterproofed or triacetate fabrics!
